AI in Sports and Fitness
Orreco secures $4M to scale injury prevention across elite sports. The Galway-based firm, backed by Mark Cuban and Enterprise Ireland, is deploying Motion Signal technology that uses computer vision and machine learning to identify non-contact injury risk by analyzing changes in athlete movement patterns. Orreco now serves Premier League clubs, the WNBA, PGA Tour professionals, and world tennis number one Aryna Sabalenka.
Recovr tackles silent member churn with behavioral AI detection. The fitness platform announced $1M in seed funding as it expands to the US, using AI-powered behavioral signals to catch early signs of disengagement before members disappear. Founded by fitness operators with expertise in Pilates and franchises, the system automates personalized outreach and expects to triple annual recurring revenue in the next 12 months.
Theia brings lab-grade biomechanics to baseball without sensors. The AI company launched a video-only swing analysis system that captures full 3D bat path and body sequencing using standard high-speed cameras. Field-tested by Driveline Baseball and the San Diego Padres, the system achieves lab accuracy within 3 degrees of traditional marker-based systems.
Acemate Tennis Robot wins TIME Best Inventions 2025. Using dual 4K cameras, the AI-powered robot returns shots in 0.15 seconds and adapts to shot placement like a real opponent, serving up to 80 mph with multiple spins. Pre-order pricing at $1,599 targets recreational players NTRP 1.0-6.0.
Luna Band eliminates friction from health tracking with voice commands. The company launched a screenless smart band with voice-led health logging through Siri, letting athletes record contextual information about sleep, activity, stress, and recovery without opening an app. LifeOS syncs with Apple Health and Google Fit with no subscription required.
LUMISTAR transforms court training with adaptive AI machines. The LA-based company revealed TERO (tennis) and CARRY (basketball) systems that use computer vision and real-time feedback to evaluate shot quality and instantly adjust training parameters. TERO enters pre-sale in April 2026; CARRY launches Kickstarter in April 2026.
European Athletics expands global reach with AI translation. The governing body partnered with CAMB.AI to add AI-powered translation in 12 languages, making event coverage, athlete profiles, and competition updates accessible across the continent with text-to-speech technology.

π‘AI Prompt of the Day: The "ONE Thing" 2026 Goal-Setting Prompt
Act as a productivity coach specializing in the principles of "The ONE Thing" by Gary Keller. I want to set goals for 2026, but I need to move past a broad "to-do list" and find my "Lead Dominos."
Step 1: The Interview Ask me 3 targeted questions to help me identify my top 2β3 goals for 2026. For each goal, help me find the "Focusing Question": What is the ONE Thing I can do for this goal such that by doing it, everything else will be easier or unnecessary?
Step 2: Goal Setting to the Now Once I provide my goals, create a "Line of Dominos" table for 2026. Break each goal down into:
Annual Goal (The 2026 Result)
Quarterly Lead Domino (The specific milestone that must fall first)
Daily/Weekly Time Block (The one activity I must protect at all costs)
Step 3: The Productivity Audit Ask me about my current schedule and "time thieves." Then, suggest a daily Time Block schedule that protects my "ONE Thing" while leaving room for my essential daily responsibilities.
Please start by asking the Step 1 questions to identify my 2026 goals.
How much could AI save your support team?
Peak season is here. Most retail and ecommerce teams face the same problem: volume spikes, but headcount doesn't.
Instead of hiring temporary staff or burning out your team, thereβs a smarter move. Let AI handle the predictable stuff, like answering FAQs, routing tickets, and processing returns, so your people focus on what they do best: building loyalty.
Gladlyβs ROI calculator shows exactly what this looks like for your business: how many tickets AI could resolve, how much that costs, and what that means for your bottom line. Real numbers. Your data.
