Prompt of the Day

How Race Organizations Can Use ChatGPT to Create Impactful Infographics

Race events like the New York City Marathon have loads of impressive data. By turning that data into visual stories, they can:

  • Boost engagement on social media 🧵

  • Highlight achievements to the press 🗞️

  • Add flair to their website 🖥️

  • Celebrate runners & community 📣

🛠️ What You’ll Need:

  • Access to ChatGPT with image generation enabled

  • Your event stats (see example below)

  • A sense of the vibe or theme you want (modern? retro? inspiring? clean?)

🧾 The Prompt (Copy & Paste This)

You are a professional graphic designer. Your task is to create a clean, easy-to-read infographic based on these key facts from the 2024 TCS New York City Marathon:

  • 55,646 runners finished the race — the most in NYC Marathon history

  • Over 165,000 people applied to run — the second-highest number ever

  • Approximately 2,000 runners finished in under 3 hours

  • Kevin Leimkuhler set a world record for running a marathon in Crocs, finishing in 2:51:27

Design this infographic to be extremely easy to read. Use a simple vertical layout where each fact appears on its own line or section, one underneath the other.

Use clear section spacing and bold numbers. Keep the color palette limited to navy blue, orange, and white (NYC Marathon colors). Include small, relevant icons next to each fact (e.g., shoe icon, stopwatch, Crocs) to add visual interest without clutter.
